Federal Tyres Drift Attack 2011
Drift Attack is back for 2011! This year there will be two rounds of the highly anticipated Drift Attack competition, both to be held at Winton Raceway. The first round is to be held on Saturday the 7th of May 2011. Second round is 8th of October, so head on down to Winton Raceway to check out one of Australia's biggest drift competitions.
Ever wanted to know what it feels like to go for a ride inside a drift car? Wheeltech will be providing passenger rides on all day, so why not try it out!

General Public
Members of the public will have the opportunity to ride in the official Wheeltech cars. This unique opportunity will be available throughout the day. Those who want a passenger rides must proceed to the Scrutineering Bay Office (red) and approach the Spectator Rides Officer.
Passengers are required to:
- Pay $50 to the Spectator Officer (red scrutineering bay office)
- Sign general release waiver for passengers.
- Show a valid wrist band to the Track Entry Officer
- Wear an approved helmet, be fully clothed head to toe, and wear enclosed footwear. (General Public must wear provided overalls, if attire is deemed unsuitable)
- Not carry/hold ANY photographic/video devices or other handheld item.
- Obey all general safety regulations and ensures all limbs are kept inside the vehicle AT ALL TIMES.
- Not be under the influence of any drugs or alcohol.

The Victorian Drift Club was founded in 2006 in order to provide an avenue for Victorian Drifters to practice and compete in a safe, legal and controlled environment. The Victorian Drift Club prides itself on being a club run by fellow drift and motorsport enthusiasts. Vicdrift conduct fun, well organised events with plenty of track time for the drivers. Vicdrift events are conducted at Winton Motor Raceway, Benalla, in country Victoria.
2010 was the most successful year for the club on record, with record spectator numbers and driver numbers continuing to increase, which shows the health of the sport and reflects the club’s commitment to drift in Victoria.
Vicdrift events cater for all levels of driver, from first time drifters through to professionals. Novices have the opportunity to start
driving in a separated area of the track and receive expert tuition from trained instructors away from the pressures of the main track.
Vicdrift run regular practice days through to National level competitions.
The 2010 “Drift Attack” event was arguably the biggest and most successful single day drift event in Australia for 2010 with over $10,000 prize money on offer, putting the club on the map all over Australia with drivers attending from as far away as Queensland.
If you just want to check out what drifting is all about, spectators are welcome at all our events. Spectators can also arrange to have a drift ride in selected vehicles for a real adrenalin experience of the sport 1st hand!
2011 is going to be the club’s strongest ever, with two massive Drift attack events planned and another one off, first of its kind, weekend Drift Festival. Companies and Organisations looking to help promote the sport should contact us to discuss your options in being a club partner for 2011.
